Hi everyone!  My name is May  Wang, and I am a multidisciplinary artist with experience designing and illustrating for the music, film, advertising, publishing, and theatre industries.


Growing up, I spent my childhood playing in my grandfather’s home studio, and watching him create traditional ink paintings was my first exposure to art. While he’s still my favorite artist, since then, my artistic influences have grown from just my grandfather to include artists such as James Jean, Salman Toor, and Junji Ito. With an emphasis on storytelling, my body of work reflects my seminal experiences, cultural heritage, and media consumption that have shaped my life today.
